Hey Lost i ahve the cert on my screen,

Marriage date : 18 Mar 1897

His Profession : Musician

Hers : Domestic Servant

His Father : Thomas James Anderson, Compositor(?) Foreman
Mother : Rose Anderson, Formerly McBride (Deceased)

Witness's : John Stuart Paterson & Katie Anderson

Marriage registered on March 22nd 1897. Marriage location 104 Hill Street, Glasgow

I've not added Mary's details purely because Victoria mentions she has Mary's side

Do you have any dates for the children?

I've just viewed the marriage cert, John was 24 and Mary was 21.

I will do an address search and see what it pulls up for you...

I am also doing my family tree for Scotland and am stuck, your having more luck than me! Us McBride's were everywhere in Glasgow back then!

Thanks but no dice. His father was Thomas James and his mother was Rose McBride, I got that from his marriage cert but my trail stops right there!

Hi there, looking for grt grandfather's birth place. He was married in Glasgow to Mary Watson (born Davidson) and I've found their marriage certificate and the birth certs for their children, but can't find any census records that would tell me where he was born. Children at 1901 census would be Rose,John and possibly Mary but she was born in September 1901 so probably not.
John and Mary were born in Campbeltown, Argyll; Rose in Glasgow.

Any info would be fantastic as I am truly stuck!
