I'm trying find out if the ABSALOM EVANS listed in the 1901 cencus as the nephew of John Evans of Smithy Ffayn Mawr in Glyn Denbigshire is my paternal grandfather. Although a search of birth records for this Absalom Evans yields a single hit, his name does not seem to appear in the records. If anyone is able to provide me with information on Absalom and/or his parents I would love to hear from you |

Many thanks Jim - I'm new at this ancestor tracing, so there are many tricks of the trade I'm unaware of. It looks as if you have pointed me in the right direction, and I will certainly follow up the leads you have given me. |

Very many thanks, I think these could well be Absalom's parents. I'm going to follow up the leads you so kindly gave me. |
