I am trying to find any relatives of Arthur Hall of Sheffield b 1900 s?

I have an Arthur Hall born 1901 or 2. He married into my maternal line in 1926 Salford (although he wasn't from Salford).
My sister seems to think that he was born in Yorkshire. He had a different dialect. They didn't have any children. When his wife died around 1950/60 he remarried but I don't know who to. His father was named on the marriage cert as Albert Hall a motor driver and one of the witness was a Lizzie Hall.

Hi Jaqui,thanks for replying, it all seemed to fit and then his wife his wife was elizabeth but she died 1987

Hi Chris,

Arthur's first wife was Mary. Very shortly after her death he remarried (a widow I think). He was not a young man when Mary died so could his second wife have been called Elizabeth?

The Lizzie as witness to Arthur's first marriage to Mary could have been his mother or sister?

Just a thought.

Hi Jaqui my Arthur married Elizabeth in 1923 he wa s22 years old so i dont think its possible for it to be the same person
or could it lol

I feel sure that my Arthur had not been married before Mary so looks like our Arthurs are NOT one of the same.
