The 1901 census has an Honora Regan born 1887 but not in Ireland, however her parents were. She's only 14 so don't see how she could have married and had 15 children before 1913.

I know they were married in London from other members of family, but no one is sure of a year date.
edith said they were born very fast so to speak but i have wondered if the parents birth dates could be 1860 as i have found the mother - honora for that year ands not for 1880
but i found the john hallett of 1880 walworth and he was a black smith so perhaps im back to square one with dates
he was one of the first borns

Can not find a birth for John M Elliott but can find a birth for a John M Hallett in Southwark 1890 which covers Newington.

Too many of the names and birthplaces match that to the 1901 already posted

The image looks like Elliott, it's strange isn't it as I haven't been able to find them under Hallett in 1891.

Found probables for 1881 for both of them

Thanks Christine for your help
but the Honora one is difficult ive found very little people with that name and when i have it has been too far off a possability and im affraid her name was deffinatly spelt without the 'h' on the end of it as Edith (great grandmother) gave her daughter (grandmother) honora as her middle name.

Vikki

I should imagine Honara is a name that is likely to be misspelt by the Enumerator nd later by the transcribers, so I wouldnt rule out anything Christine and Maureen have found. I certaily cant find anything else.

I found this birth entry for the dau Hannah on the 1901 Christine found.

Maybe worth sending for the cert to see what her monthers name was.

Q4 1896 Hallett Hannah St. Saviour 1d 26

Jacqui

Jacqui Report 7 Mar 2008 21:31

This must be one of the 15 children.

Either cert might give you an adrress which matches the 1891/1901 census finds

Birth Q3 1895 Hallett Honora St. Saviour 1d 42
Death Q1 1898 HALLETT Honora 2 St. Saviour 1d 14

Jacqui

Jacqui Report 7 Mar 2008 21:36

And if Christines 1881 find for Honoarah with father Maurice is right - this could be another of the 15:

Birth Q1 1897 Hallett Maurice St. Saviour 1d 30

Death Q2 1897 Hallett Maurice 0 St.Saviour 1d 17

Jacqui

Jacqui Report 7 Mar 2008 21:44

And the 1881 Honara had a sister Johanna so is this another one of the 15?????

B Q2 1898 HALLETT Johanna St. Saviour 1d 32
