trying to find parents of john evans b.1861 whitchurch, gardner / farm labourer. moved to ashton in makerfield, wigan, lancs had 2 children, william and herbert john with his 1st wife (name unknown), married his 2nd wife mary ann stevenson in 1894 and had 5 children ronald james, jack vincent, margery may, robert stanley and joseph stevenson evans.
in 1871 welsh census john evans born whitchurch was living/visiting grandparents john and elizabeth evans in hanmer flintshire

I found this when I was looking for a Lydia Mary Evans born in 1843 in Whitchurch, Nr Cardiff, Glamorgan. I have been on the hunt for this lady for some time. If they are connected then she is the mother of my grandfather Thomas Richards born in 1884. I am waiting for the marriage certificate to arrive so will post something more when it arrives.

Did anyone find out which Whitchurch John Evan was born in?

There are seven places in the UK called Whitchurch - I am in Whitchurch Cardiff and have the parish registers
