Does anyone have any info on a Frank Cooper from the London area born around 1923 who was in, I believe, the Royal Service Corp around 1943 and was a boxer for the Army. |

Somewhere in my memory i think my father Frank Cooper boxed in the army. He married my mother Margaret Jones before i was born, which was in 1957, dont know exact date of the marridge. i have only re joined today, so need to build up my family tree again, but its very scant. If you would like to mail me thats fine. My dad became an insurance agent, and when i was 3 we lived in Caversham, Reading. |

Hello Ann, thank you for your reply. This is a very delicate subject which I have thought about long and hard and have decided to go ahead with(searching that is). The Frank Cooper I am looking for is my birth father. My Mother had a relationship with him at the end of the 2nd WW (around 1943) and all I have are two photographs of him. The only other info I have is that he was from the South of England, was in the Royal Service Corp stationed I belive in Yorkshire around 1943 and attended boxing matches representing the army. If you think there may be a connection and you would like to contact me, or you would like to contact me anyway, my e.mail address is [email protected]. Warm regards Maureen |

Hello again Ann, I forgot to mention, my date of birth is 1944, If you would like to exchange any photo's, perhaps this would rule in or out any possible connection, I would be happy to do so, although not too 'clever' with the pc where attatments are concerned, but will do my best. warm regards Maureen |
