Please can anybody help me?
I am trying to trace Elsie May Hall who lived at 37 Burdett Buildings Lambeth in1945. According to the electoral roll of that year she was living with a Lillian K Woodman. By 1946 she had vanished, but Lillian was still there but with a George Woodman.
thank you for any help.

regards Patricia.

Have you tried Looking in the electrol roll not just that address as it is possible she moved, or married or could of passed away??
Have you found out anything about her since finding her on the electrol roll in 1945??

Hi Alexandra
Didn't know what other adresses to look for, l don't think can just look for a name on the electral roll.
No l haven't been able to find a trace since 1945 as they didn't have any electral rolls during the war
years.
I have found lots of deaths for Elsie May Hall, but don't know which could be hers.
Her maiden name was Poulter but l have never been able to find a marriage between a Poulter and a Hall.
She's quite a mystery.
l'd be really grateful for any tips or advice.
kind regards

Patricia.

Hi,
I have been researching a George Woodman for sometime now who I believe lived in Lambeth around the time you mention. My grandmother Ester Vernon was divorced from William Vernon in 1934 and the co-respondent mentioned on their divorce file was George Woodman. I do have further information about George but would like to hear if you think there is a possible connection here.

Many Thanks
