I'm trying to find any information on James Taylor born about 1821 in Gordon, Berwickshire, Scotland.
I have his son's, (also called James Taylor) marriage certificate, which took place at Tynemouth 1885 naming James Taylor as his father.
The family lived in Blyth at the time of the marriage.
His father's occupation was a Cordwainer (Shoemaker).
James's mothers name was Isabella born 1832 Berwick on tweed. There first 2 sons were born there.
I don't have a marriage place or date for James & Isabella.
Can anyone help?.
