I've been searching for the children of my gggrandfathers, Frederick Morris, first marriage to a Henrietta Haynes.
Fred was born 1875 in Margate and i believe Henrietta was born 1878 in Watford, Herts.

I've been unsuccessful at finding a marriage record between Fred and Henrietta so far.

I do know that they had six children but i don't know any details of their births or even their names! My grandfather remembers an uncle Mac?

Henrietta died in march 1916 in Margate of TB. Fred remarried in 1917 to Alice Gertrude Bradbear in Surrey.
Fred and Alice had two daughters: Doris Josephine (Jo) b 1919 Suffolk and Irene May b 1921 Suffolk.

Fred died in Motherwell, Lanarkshire, Scotland in 1944.

We'd love to hear from anybody who recognises any of these names!

Two possibilities
Lily Morris 1912 Oct-Nov-Dec Haynes Thanet Kent
View Record

Betty E M Morris 1917 Oct-Nov-Dec Haynes Woolwich Greater London, Kent, London

There are others which may fit, but before this the mothers maiden name wasn't given

I have just noticed that she died in 1916, so the second one can't be hers

Thanks Linda, but i'm beginning to have doubts about Haynes as her surname as i just can't find a marriage between them!

I've searched and searched and the only two possibilities are a henrietta sophie styles in Chippenham and a Henrietta Knowles in Warrington!

Thanks, Deborah
i'd not been able to look at his death record as its at my grandparents house, i'll have a look and see if that makes any difference!

Just a question though: if they were married on an army barracks would the marriage still be registered in the GRO?
