Hi,

Ive just found out that i had a Great Aunt called Grace Green she was the younger sister of Charles Leslie Green and daughter of Frederick & Ellen Green.
Frederick was a Plumber Journeyman & Ellen was formerly Broadhead.
There may be more siblings but im not aware of it as of yet.

14 April 08 - Just found out of another sibling Frederick, and Graces married name was OXLEY.

Ive been told she was the younger sister so that puts her birth year AFTER 1909 which was when Charles was born..
Charles was born in Aston Birmingham so im presuming Grace was too but i cant be sure.

Im desperate to try and trace this line of Greens from Aston Birmingham as family members know absolutely nothing & im having no luck whatsoever

Ive got a similar thread for Frederick & Ellen so i thought id start another one highlighting Grace Green

Any info is greatly appreciated !
Many thanks

Val

Greens in Aston /B'ham. I am also looking for Greens! Does anyone have further knowledge of Charles Green who married Agnes Mary Fincham in 1897? They had a large family, but I can only track Lawrence, Gladys, Donald, and I think, Elsie. Agnes died about 1947, but Charles much earlier, I believe. I hope someone out there can get me going! Jan
P.S. I think there may also have been a Ruby and a Charles!

Thanks Diddydoris, ive come across a couple of Grace Greens born after 1910 but rather than ordering a bunch of birth certificates that may not relate i was trying to find the mothers maiden name of broadhead to accompany it.

Ill check out that particular one though thanks.

Janet - you have my sympathy ha ha, The greens in Aston are quite frankly doing my head in, cannot get anywhere searching them. Wishing you lots of luck in your search anyway, i hope someone manages to help you out.

Thanks

Janice

We have Green's & Broadhead's in our tree if you wish to have a peek, our Green's are from Birmingham but not sure of your names, they don't coincide with ours. Welcome to search anyway. Janice Phillips
