William was born in London he comes from a mariners family his wife Margaret remarried in1843 and their last child was born 1840 thats why its in that time frame maybe he died at sea.on a daughters marriage cert it says Master Merchant Mariner if you could help that would be great thank you Joy

Your spot on with the info fantastic im hoping the death of Margaret is the right one ive been after that can not find it on records here i have just sent for it.Would you be able to see if you can find her first husbands death (1839-1842) William John Rivers
tried everything but no luck. I think he was born 1803

Possible death not certain on this 1 saw a record on the 1881 for a Margaret Smith born Wales and she had a Grandaughter Sarah and a nurse child William with her but can't be certain that was her.She was down as a Widow.In West Ham area she was living so based on that a poss death
