Can someone kindly look up Thomas William Martin on the 1841 Census. He would have been born circa 1800 (had a son Joseph Martin born circa 1833 in Hoxton). On Joseph's marriage certificate in 1866 his father's occupation was listed as "gentleman" - what does this mean?
