Wright's of Stretford, Lancashire

I have around 100 people with the surname wright in my family history.
Most of these Wright's are born in stretford lancashire. Does anyone have any Wrights born Stretford that could be a link,

I'm trying to trace a Mary Elizabeth Wright who was adopted by the "Wrights" from Stretford/Trafford/Barton area around 1955/56. I am her birth sister, her birth mothers name would have been Ratcliffe. I know her adopted father was a Major Wright & I believe they moved to Dorset.
