I am researching this line. Josiah George (he dropped the Josiah) born 1851 in Littleham, 2nd marriage to Abigail Brown and he died in South Norwood. He was married before but haven't been able to find any other details. His father was George Argentum and his Joseph Warren. Would be interested to hear from anyone researching this line. Julie

Found this but not sure about who the wife might be. Not even sure if this is your man.

I know you say he dropped the Josiah but I would have thought that when he married he would have given his full name. Maybe not.
