Have you any idea of his mothers maiden name ??

There is this birth index (as he was born late November 1937 --they may have been a bit late to register him for Dec (quarter) 1937--so it would then go on to the next quarter, which in this case is March 1938.)

Have you any idea where he was born? He could have been left off the GRO index - I have looked from 1936 to 1939 but can't find him. The registry office where he was born might have the entry.

Also, could he possibly have been adopted?

Hello there, thanks for the reply. He died in Pontefract West yorkshire in 1996 aged 58. Born in November 1937. I am just a bit curious to why I cant find his birth recorded anywhere. His name was Lewis Leonard Anderson

Hello everyone. In a search for my grandads family I found his death certificate on records but there is no record of his birth. Does anyone know a reason for this, maybee born in anothere country or something?
