Has anybody a John King in their tree. Born Stroud about 1856 to William and Hannah King.
I definately have him in the 1861 and 1871 census and pretty sure he was based in Chatham, a Royal Marine in 1881. Then he disappears, Can anybody help please.

Thank you Tania and Christina> I already had him in 1881 but the marriage is a good bet. Of course he was single in 1881 so yes it could be him. The problem is there are so many John Kings. 2 of which were born in Stroud in the same March quarter of 1856 I think my John was registered.
Thank you both again.
