Looking for parents of Mary Cook 1826 Stroud, Gloucestershire,

married Robert Clack from Filkins,Oxfordshire in 1848,at Witney Oxfordshire.

was cook her maiden name. filkins is a tiny village were my ancestors the cooks have lived for nearly 250 years

Hi Nicholas,
Yes cook is her maiden name.
The info i have from the Census is
Mary Anne Clack (Cook) born 1826 in Stroud, Gloucestershire,
I believe her fathers name is Horatio Nelson Cook.
The Clack side all seem to have originated from Filkins and there spouses from Filkins/Broardwell/Kencot area.
Other surnames I have are Dyer,Beatman and Giles
