I am descended through his son John Lewis b. 1834 Coty Glamorgan Wales d. Jun 1906 Bridgend Wales. I do know his son was married to Elinor Harriet England 2 Dec 1861 St. Brides Minor, Glamorgan Wales as I have the certificate. On the certificate it states his father was Thomas Lewis and his occupation was postman. I am assuming Thomas was born c.1797-1810 in Glamorgan, Wales. I have tried census and BMD. There seems to be quite a few Thomas Lewis. Can anyone help me sort this out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You
