Find Ancestors

I'm trying to flesh out the bones of this family - Emma was my great grandmother - and what I know is as follows:

Emma Cooper (b 25/3/1872 & d 29/2/1956) - married to Alfred Joseph Potter (he died 1918 of the 'flu). They had 16 children.

Nancy Cooper married to "Laddie" - that's all I know except that they did have not have children as Laddie was much, much older than her.

Johannah Keary Cooper married to George A Jones. They had 2 sons - Leonard and Richard.

The girls parents were Joseph Cooper and Joanna (who is believed to be of French descent) and they all came from London (probably north of the river).

Not a lot to go on, I know, but any help at all would be appreciated.

Once again you have provided so much information for me, it will take some time to assimilate into my tree.

I will have to check with mum about Joe Coopers wifes name (she is sure (til now) it was Joanna) because if the records say different it must be so. Is there a possibility of a second marriage for Joe to take this name into account?

Christopher ...... one of the problems is that the censuses that Lew found for you, does give us information on Elizabeth's birth place, parents etc ............. which you are now wanting on your new thread!
