Hello, I am researching my Grandmother's family, from my mother's side. I recently found out my Great-Great-Grandfather was a Samuel Allen. I found this out from records at the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) which records the death/disappearance of his son, my Great-Grandfather, Harry Allen,on 1st July 1916 - Battle of the Somme, WW1. Harry Allen (b c1979) and his family lived in South Grove, St Ann's Road, Tottenham, London, UK at the time of his (Harry's) death. |
