Everyone has been so helpful I'm asking for help again. John Clark(e) born Rathmell in 1793. Wife is Jane, surname unknown. Lived in High Bentham , Yorks, in 1841. Many children including my g.g.grandfather Hezekiah, born 1838. Hopefully, Dorothy |

In the 1851 census for the family there is a daughter Margaret, aged 10, born Bentham. This is possibly her birth registration. The cert would give you mother's maiden name and then a search of parish records might give the marriage: |
