Another old thread, Starkey

Patricia is no longer a member of GR, although the original poster seems still to have an account. However, she didn’t bother to acknowledge Patricia’s messages, so can’t have been very interested.

I was searching for my relations from Downpatrick and I sent an e-mail to :
[email protected]
They posted my letter in the newspaper and the family got in touch after 35 yrs. I will ask them if they have any info as they are still there. Also a chap called James from DP got in touch with a lot of information.
Good Luck. Trisha

I am searching for information about the WALSH / STARKEY families from DOWNPATRICK, County Down. My G-G-G Grandfather NICHOLAS WALSH (c.1830) was a butcher in the town. His son PATRICK WALSH (c.1850) also a butcher, married Margaret STARKEY in 1874.

Please can you help?
