Frank Jones, born Brighton East Sussex 1877, joined Royal Navy 1892 serving on HMS CANOPUS in 1901, sister Susan, brothers ? Bill - Bert - Charlie. Married Louisa ANTRAM in 1904.
I can find no records of his birth in Brighton, nor can any of our family find out about his parents.
Please can anyone out there help Peter Jones.

THANKYOU ALL for your help and ALL THE INFO POSTED. Navy records about his D.O.B were wrong and records of 1901 ships at sea census figures for several ships, including CANOPUS are MISSING? Anyway Thankyou all again for your help, the list of his brothers and his sister clinched it PETER
