help with finding john morris

Please can anyone find John Morris(c1829) no details of his wife but his son is William (1851). William was born in Charnock Richard near Chorley, Lancashire. I have William on the 1881 cencus. Did John die young? |

Thankyou Elouise and Tania you have given me a lot to digest. I have searched without sucess. I know he had a sister called Jane c(1848) so it looks like 1861 cencus is promising. Thanks again. |
