Hi
I am trying to trace a Idris Jones who was serving in the Army in 1942. I have very little information to go on, only that he came from Wales. Any help would be appreciated.

Oh dear Tracey, a Jones from Wales!! I think you will probably have to have a bit more info - you must know something else about him otherwise you wouldnt be looking for him now.

You could try a search of the trees on here on the quick search at the top of the page or the forcesreunited website. But I think there may be many matches for that name. You would need to give more info to narrow it down.

I really dont have any more infromation at the moment, although I am trying to find out how old he was when serving in 1942.

Idris Jones born 1914? in Bangor Wales. he was a sergeant in Royal Army Catering Corps

hi i know of an idris jones who was in the army but not sure which department of army but i do know he is the founder of the caravan site at gresford near wrexham
not sure he is the same one or not
