Member Since: February 2008 Posts: 88 Send Message	Thanks Andrew The problem is I can not find the birth records of my nan in England so far. As I am stuck , as a long shot I was wondering if she was born in France. My mother was told that her mother could have been French.

Member Since: April 2008 Posts: 1 Send Message	My Great Great Grand Father worked in Paris as a Stonemason during the early part of the 1900's and both my Great Aunts were born there, anyway that's not important to you however if you know where they were born the easiest way is to contact the local Mayors office they have all the records of births, deaths and marriages, a colleague in France did this for me and I recieved copies of the documents, the only issue then is translation!
