im trying to trace harry twin think he was born roughly about 1856, he married susan buckly in 1916 in bury lancashire, not sure if he was married before susan, he died in radcliffe lancashire but not sure were he rooted from all i can find for harry twinn is suffolk, my nana thinks he came from radcliffe but i cant find him on any census form if someone else can find him would be gratefull thankyou x |

If you buy his marriage cert to Susan you would have his fathers name and occupation and from that you could work back through the census info and further certs. Do you have the exact date of marriage? At the moment I cant see any Twin(n)/Buckl(e)y marriage at all. Where did you get your basic info from? A birth cert? |

a lady on ere told me they married in 1916 at bury maybe the info was wrong susan buckley was widowed in 1913 and died in 1933 not sure of harrys death year as yet x |

It will have both the fathers names and occupations Sara. From that you can look for Henry (Harry is often a nickname for Henry) in the census info as a child with his parents. It will also have where he was living when they married, what his job was, and also you will have the names of the witnesses which may help when you trace him in the census (if they are a sibling or a parent for instance). Unfortunately its not likely to give you his age - at that age it probably just says "of full age" meaning over 21. But you may be lucky, who knows. |
