John was marred to Catherine Gaffney, in Cork.somewhere around 1790.
One son, James Florence McCarthy (c1812 ), married to Elizabeth McCormick.
Does anyone know if there are there any other children of John and Catherine, as is probable?
James and Elizabeth emmigrated to Australia with their children:
John c1840 at Athboy Co. Meath
James c1845 at Athboy
Charles c1845 at Athboy
Justine c1847 at Athboy
Mary c1849 at Athboy
Elizabeth c1850 at Athboy
Isobella c1853 at Athboy
Clara c1855 at Athboy
and had 2 more children:
Eugene 1847 Port Macquaie NSW
Catherine 1860 Port Macquaie NSW
I belong to Eugene's line.
