thanks for your help...i have quite a lot of info on my tree- im more looking for relations, because my grandad was adopted and we know little about the family in terms of stories, photos and existing relatives...that was more the sort of info i was looking for.
Thanks a lot anyway for caring enough to look- i really appreciate it.

Annie,

If the info you need is to bring the tree lines down, you need to follow each child through their marriage, death etc Which one is your grandad? Have you already sorted any lines out? I have done the one for you for Basil. His death certificate would hopefully give you who registered it and an address that may be useful. That is what you need to bring your lines down. With a name like Cook it is going to be difficult to trawl through each year quarter by quarter looking for births but if you can find all the marriages you will know what to look for.

I will have a look for some more marriages for you.

Thanks Jane

Zella is my great grandmother. She moved to Australia when she was 20/21 and had my grandad 2 years later- we don't know who his father was. When he was 3/4 she put him in a orphanage where he stayed until he was about 13, when he was adopted and his name changed. He remebered nothing of his mother except being abandoned. I know she remarried a Jospeh Donnelly in NSW in 1926, and know they were living in Bundaberg in 1936, but I would love to know if they had any children, and when and where she died.
I've got the death certifcate and will of Basil, but one of his children has died (we are in the process of writing to her husband) and we have no idea where his other daughter is.
I've also just got in contact with the daughter of Vida who has said they wil send me any information they have.
I know Horace married in 1920? to Elizabeth? and was in the RAF, but I similarly have little information about what happened to him later- there are no deaths that could be possible.
Its similar for all the other children- I really want to know where they are, and what they know about what happened to Zella.

Thanks a lot for your help,
Annie
