Hi
I'm trying to find Mavis Taylor born in Methley, Nr Castleford, West Yorkshire in 1925.
I'm trying to find her parents.
Any help or a push in the right directions.

Have you looked at the full BMD's on Ancestry or Findmypast for the birth details.

There is this one but not in the right area for Castleford
Births Mar 1925 (96%)

The closest match that I could find was
Mavis Taylor 1925, Pontefract 9c 267
mother's maiden name Hammill.
I'm not 100% certain but I think Methley lies in Pontefract registration district
EDIT
If it's of any help there is a marriage for Harry Taylor
to Annie E Hammill in 1924 in Pontefract.
