I am trying to find the step or half brother and two sisters of my mother who died in 1981. One sister was called Jessie I think and the brother was married and had a son and a daughter called Heather. The place connection may be Brockenhurst or Chesterfield but I think Brockenhurst is more likely. My mother was in the ATS during the war, married my father Albert Penny and had me in 1944. After that she contracted TB and was in and out of hospital until about 1952 and this was when I saw these 3 relatives for the first and only time. My grandmother's name was Lavinia and was married to John Thorley when my mother was born but her surname was Blake when she died. Blake may be the surname of these relatives. I would appreciate any help. |
