I am looking for Turners of Oldham with a Stockport connection.James William Turner b1901 in Stockport moved to Oldham sometime in has early life. He was my grandmothers brother she was Sarah Elizabeth Turner b1904 in Stockport and her married name was Swain. She often spoke of her brother( who she called Bill )that had moved to Oldham.He died sometime in the late 1970,s/early 1980,s because his family came to vist my gran in Stockport (who was frail by then) to tell her of his death.
James Williams parents were Joseph Turner b1880&Sarah Elizabeth Turner nee Fox b1883 both in Stockport;
