Searching for my great grandfather who was noted as a Brush Manufacturer in my grandfather's marriage certificates (alive in 1907 / dead in 1943). I am assuming that my great grandfather Robert Edwin Johnson was born between 1840 and 1855. There is no other information available and no certainty as to the birthdate, birthplace and full birth name of my grandfather 'Harry' Johnson (probably born early 1879, possibly in Lancashire). 'Harry' may have assumed his name after leaving his family in the North to settle in London where he worked as a stockbroker's clerk.

Grateful for any leads

When was your grandfather born and what was his name from his M/C..they will be easier to pick up together on the census

Julie

Just re-read your request...Who Did Harry marry & When as that would be easier
