Thank You Thank You Thank You!!!

If you knew how long i had been looking for Annie you would laugh that it took you so little time. Granted getting the marrage cert was a boost.

I don't know why i couldn't find these!
I did short list the first record found, but i could not make the connection, i always sleep badly after searching like that too....

I think we have them, persuming John changed to the mines for purpose of work, wigan at that time would be the place to go!! I will check through but i think this is them. You are a star!!!

Looking agin in 1901,I believe again this is the corresponding Family again living at Ince in Makerfield.The Family consists of;
Elizabeth Davies,Widow born c 1845 Mostyn Flintshire.
Thomas Davies,born c 1871 Mostyn.
Margaret Davies,born c 1881 Mostyn.
William Davies,born c 1883 Mostyn,
Thomas Sheppard born c 1892 Wigan Grandson.
George Lewis,born c 1877 Mostyn Nephew.
RG13/3565/94/3.
I'm sure you will find that Sarah Elizabeth Davies married someone called Sheppard!

Anne Davies is with her Parents in 1881 living at Glan Y Don Cottages Whitford Flintshire.Family members are
John Edward Davies,Shoemaker born Holywell c 1843.
Elizabeth Davies,born Holywell c 1844.
Sarah Elizabeth Davies,born Whitford c 1869.
Thomas Davies,born Whitford c 1870.
Anne Davies,born Whitford c 1872.
John Edward Davies,born Whitford c 1874.
Margaret Davies,born Whitford,11 months.
Now then first of all have a look and decide whether this is the corresponding Family in 1891.They are living at Ince in Makerfield but apparently as you will see John E Davies this time has changed his Occupation for some reason to a Collier.The household consists of;
John E Davies,Collier born c 1841 Holywell Flintshire.
Elizabeth Davies,born c 1843 Holywell.
Thomas Davies,born c 1871 Holywell.
John E Davies,born c 1874 Holywell.
Maggie Davies,born c 1881 Holywell.
William Davies,born c 1883 Holywell.
The references for the two Census entries are for 1881,RG11/5501/74/31.For 1891,RG12/3061/66/8.If you look at the Census entry for 1881 it gives Mostyn Whitford at the top.As far as perhaps differing Birthplaces for the children,Whitford and Holywell are barely two miles apart.

Looking for Annie Davies married Jesse Mather in 1892 Adlington Lancashire. I have the wedding certificate but still hitting a brick wall.
On the 1901 Census it says Annie was born Mostyn North Wales. At the time she married she was residing in Adlington Lancs and working as a servant her father is listed as John Edward Davies and was a Collier. Her witness's were George Hatch and Sarah Elizabeth Sheppherd. Where was she the pervious years and who is her mother and siblings? Can anyone who is good at this perform a search for me and see if they unearth anything, because i don't seem to be finding anything! She very well could be living in as a servant and thus not with her family! AHHHHHHHHHHH Help me, i thought this cert was an answer no Noooooo!
Thanks in advance
