Member Since: April 2003 Posts: 9 Send Message	I am trying to find information on my great grandmother, KATHLEEN PATRICIA MARTIN. She was born in Midleton, County Cork in Southern Ireland in 1875. Her parents were CHARLES MARTIN, a gamekeeper and EMMA MITCHELL. It is believed that they were English. As far as I am aware there were at least 2 other children, a daughter FRANCES and a son CHARLES. I have not been able to find a birth record for Kathleen. As I have no idea when and where her parents came from I know little of them. Kathleen, Frances and Charles did come to England. Kathleen met my great grandfather, JOHN MURRAY in Aldershot at the turn of the century. They were maried Feb 1909. I have found looking for records difficult in Irelnad and England and if I hit any more brick walls I'm going to look like a boxer!! If Kathleen's parent were orginially from England, I'm not sure if the whole family returned together, or if they came over by choice. I believe that CHARLES lived in Gravesend. Not sure if he or Frances every married or when they died. Any information on the family or as to access birth records in Cork would be helpful and very much appreciated. Debbie
