I am trying to find information on my great grandmother, KATHLEEN PATRICIA MARTIN. She was born in Midleton, County Cork in Southern Ireland in 1875.

Her parents were CHARLES MARTIN, a gamekeeper and EMMA MITCHELL. It is believed that they were English.

As far as I am aware there were also daughters FRAN or FRANCES, SARAH, EMMA, CATHERINE and a son CHARLES.

I have not been able to find a birth record for Kathleen. As I have no idea when and where her parents came from I know little of them.

Kathleen, Frances and Charles did come to England. Kathleen met my great grandfather, JOHN MURRAY in Aldershot at the turn of the century. They were married Feb 1909.

I have found looking for records difficult in Irelnad and England and if I hit any more brick walls, I'm going to look like a boxer!!

If Kathleen's parent were orginially from England, I'm not sure if the whole family returned together, or if they came over individually by choice. I believe that CHARLES lived in Gravesend. Not sure if he Frances, or others every married or when or where they died.

Not sure if Charles and Emma died in Ireland or back in England?

Any information on the family or how to access birth records/cencus in Cork would be helpful and very much appreciated.
