dont think this is the same james allen. i have him in 1891 with differant children. my grt grandfather leonard allen born 1885 annie 16 charles 15 florence 1 frederick 12 and george 20 living in camberwell. |

You should buy his marriage certificate, that will tell you his father's name and occupation, and thus help you go further back. There are a number of James Allnes born in the relevant period in the London area. |

prior to 1891 i cannot find any info on james allen c1846 possible p.o.b. camberwell london. this is where he was living with wife elizabeth in 1891 and their children, annie,charles,florence,frederick, and george. james was an upholsterer. any help would be appreciated |
