South African family of David and Jane Scott who arrived in South Africa in 1901 on the ship 'German'. I have the passenger list from 31 March 1901 census taken at Southampton. Children were Jeanine, James, Mabel, David. David was born 1862 in Leith. His parents were Barbara Gollan (b 1837) and James Scott (B 1836). David lived in Trematon Drive, Durban North and they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on 06.06.1938. Thereafter, I am unable to find any info.
Their daughter - Mabel Gollan Scott - married FW Burne and was socially active in her husband duties as mayor's secretary.
I would be most grateful for any information on the Scott family of Durban.
