Hi there !

I'm trying to trace the Torriano family from Milan ? 16th cent. who fled to Geneva, got married, and emigrated to London to found the TORRIANO family in England with descendants in Europe, South Africa, USA, Australia, Ceylon

"...Alexander Torriano "from Geneva" settled in England in 1620 (Minister to Italian Church in London)..."

"...Alexander Torriano, an Italian priest who became a Protestant and fled to Geneva where he is said to have married; ..."

"...the Torrianos in England being also descended from another victim of religious persecution, who fled from Milan and settled in London in 1620..."

-WHEREFROM ?
-WHEN ? to Geneva
-WHOM ? did he marry in Geneva ?

AND: is there any connection to Giovanni Torriano, the clockmaker of the 16th century in later Italy and Spain ?
