I am trying to trace my grandmother agnes booth formaly KIRK?? ( INOW THINK IT WAS GROARK)she was my mothers mother she was living in service in London in 1909 all I know are the details on my mothers B.Certificate nobody knew that she was pregnant my mother was left with a family in Paddington on the B.Cert it states that her name was AGNES GRAHAM BOOTH formaly Kirk but we think that the Graham was the name of the father and that they joined them to-gether as my mother was iligitimate fathers name George Graham a soldier at Regents Parks Barracks in London in 1909 The details about my grandfather are correct he was a Sargent in the Northern Reserve and was stationed at Regents Park Barracks in 1911 he was a widower and in 1901 he was at Wrexhan Barracks in Wales which is where Agnes Groark was born her family were from Co Mayo. |
