Help. I am trying to find my mothers dad! his name was Robert Wilfred Allen. As far as my mum knows, his birthday was 1st April 1913 or thereabouts. He left my nan when my mum was 6 months old and has had no contact with her ever since as my nan didn't want him seeing her. My nans name was Winifred Daisy Pygall (known as Molly). They lived at the Royal Links Hotel in Cromer for a while as my mums grandmother was caretaker there!
My mums name is June Elizabeth Bateman (nee Allen). She would love to know if she has any half brothers or sisters and she also has 3 children(2 boys and a girl) who never knew their grandad!
We want to know wether he got married again or had any more children. He got married on the 27th June 1942, but he never got divorced from her.
Any information would be wonderful. Many Thanks
Becky Bateman. On behalf of June.

If you think it might be, it's worth ordering the death cert to see who the informant was. This might lead you to more data.
