Hi Edgar,
My grandfather George Richard Hall b. 3 October 1919 Marylebone London, the son of Rrichard/Edwin Hall and Lilian Elizabeth Rozycki m. 1915 London.

Not exactly a Hall within your brief. However the marriage lines were confused. A church wedding where the curate/minister married two brides to one groom. Same surname, different first names.

The age of groom Edwin Hall is given as 43yrs, the brides as 34yrs did make me suspect in light of the name mishap.

Lilian Hall b. 1916 London - her father is listed as Edwin Hall bricklayer but her brother George Richard Hall b.1919 Marylebone London is listed as Richard Ewin Hall and brother Charles b.1922 cannot be found.

Hi Ann and Sue, unfortunately it is 18 months since Edgar posted this message and he may not be checking for replies any more.

It may be better to click on his name and send your messages via GR. If he still has the same email address he should receive it.

Also, if you put the names you are looking for into the search box above, you may discover links with your families and may be able to make contact.

Hope this helps.

I am trying to piece together several presently unconnected, but sometimes large, fragments of HALL families from Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Derbyshire, Gloucestershire, Huntingdonshire, Kent, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire, and Yorkshire. Some of them migrated to Islington, London where my immediate family lived.

Other names I am interested in are: BARKER (Hertfordshire, Islington, Kent), CAPEL (Buckinghamshire), FREHSDORF (Germany), NICHOLLS (Kent), OETTERSHAGEN (Germany), and SPAIN (Islington, Kent).

If any of this rings a bell with you, or you think you may be able to help with more information, please let me know.
