I am trying to trace links to my grandfather, William Henry Thomas born in c1890 in Caernarvon.

I have a postcard sent to his 'Dear Mother' in 1908 to Mrs M Rawson Williams (presumably she remarried) of 15 Hyfrydle Road, Talysarn, Penygross, Caernarvon.

I have actually visited the house which is in a former slate mining village. Once the mine closed many were forced to seek work elsewhere.

The following were some of the beneficiaries of their uncle, John M Thomas, who had emigrated to New York. The document is dated for 1954:

David Rawson Thomas of 15 The Dell, Rockferry

Margaret Rigby of 46 High Street, Menai Bridge Anglesey

Jennie Ellis of Pendalar, Ysgubor, Goch, Caernarvon

Lizzie Ashmore of 7 Pleasant View, Stark Holmes, Derbyshire

May Gregory of 3 Hope Terrace Holmes Road Matlock Bath

Hugh Rawson Thomas of 30 Bro Helen, Caernarvon

William Rawson Thomas of 37 Cefn Hendre Caernarvon

Glyn Rawson Thomas of Bryn Hendre, Llanbeblig Road, Caernarvon

Glenys Rawson Thomas of 10 Block 2 Road 2 Cefn Hendre Caernarvon

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
Jenifer
