hi,
my grandma was born elizabeth brooks 1886, salford lancs i think, her mother re married a Jones.. and they lived hucknall. I am not sure what his first name was, her marriage cert was witnessed by a john jones..that could have been her step dad or step brother? Cant find her on the census, on her marriage cert it states elizabeth brookes father thomas hatton brookes deceased. In 1903 when she married at basford reg office she was living spring bank hucknall or spring street..so i dont know if she was known as jones or not . i cant find her mom as i dont know her first name, so any info on jones from hucknall at that time would help me greatly! i cant even find her birth record!
