Yes, Pete is known to me, his half sister has recently divorced my cousin. (I have had to detatch his half of the tree as I got loads of leads to that and none to my direct line) |

hello, still looking for you, no luck as yet thought.I take it from your great grandmothers and grandmothers names that Phylis did at some time marry Ernest Wilson? or is it a coincidence? can't find record as yet.. |

My grandmothers name was Gertrude Wilson born in Castlford, Yorkshire and her mother was Phylis Wilson Born in Normanton, Yorkshire |

Lindsey - The only dates I have are my grandmothers birth which is Feb 1917 and her mothers birth @ 1888. |

lots of illegitimate children invent fathers... he may have been a step father or even just a guy who lived down the road who seemed a nice guy to name. |

If he isn't named on the birth cert, you will have difficulty in proving that this individual was the child's father. |

I am trying to find my grandmothers father. He is not named on her birth certificate but is on her marriage cert. as 'Ernest Wilson, Corporal in Irish Guards. Killed in Battle.' |
