I've come to a dead end. I'm trying to find a John Robinson born c1824 Faxton or Mawsley Lodge, Northamptonshire depending which Census you look at. I can find him in all the Census' except the 1891 but I can't find him in the IGI. He married Mary nee Thompson in the 1st Q of 1845 at Kettering, Northamptonshire. He was a Shepherd. We know of 3 children Mary Ann born Broughton, Northamptonshire 1847, Charles my Great Great Grandfather born Loddington, Northamptonshire 4-12-1849 and Samuel born Old, Northamptonshire 1855. Unfortunately I'm unable to visit the Archives in Northamptonshire. Any suggestions

Do you think he may have died before l89l - there are several deaths which fit the dates on free bmd. Have you found his wife or any children on the l89l.
