Davies' of Aberarth Cardiganshire

I am researching my fathers tree through his mothers line. She was Jane Mary Hicks (Hicks tree is almost finished) nee Jones 1902 her father was Thomas Jones 1870 from Aberdaron North Wales who moved to London then to Pontypridd. Her mother was Mary Jane Davies 1870 born in Aberarth moved to London where she met Thomas. They eventually moved back to Aberarth. Mary's father was David Davies b1843 Aberarth who later died aboard ship. mother Jane ? b1840. I am able to go back as far as William Davies c 1811 who married a Catherine? however I am unsure I have followed the right line as there were quite a lot of Davies' in Aberarth, so if there is anyone tracing the Davies' line I would appreciate some help. |
