Marlene, have just seen your entry re Ward family from Small Heath Birmingham. One of my cousins in Birmingham married a Horace Ward, he has now passed away, But I will be visiting the cousin in Sept 09. Could ask her if she remembers any of the family. Just noticed your mesage! What can you tell me about your Walter?
Mine was WALTER LESLIE WARD born 1902 who married Esther L Wood and they had a son also named Walter Leslie Ward born 1927.

Victor is possibly a family name .
I am tracking forward from when my gt granpa emigrated to New Zealand so I cannot help other than what I have researched!

Hi There

I'm trying to ind information about Walter Ward. he was my paternal great grandfather, also from Aston.

Do you have any ages for your Walter. the only definite detail i have is that my walter was killed a couple of days before armistice day. he had a son Victor Ward.

John & Mary Ann WARD along with their family (those known are..)
Florence Annie
Minnie
Elsie
Annie Beatrice (married William George Farren in 1915)
Ethel May
Benjamin John (married Gladys Ivy Derry in 1920)

lived at 343 Heather Road Small Heath Aston in 1920.

In 1911 the family WAS AT 44 Heather Road and there were additIonal children
WALTER LESLIE
DORIS FANNY
HORACE

Does anyone know of any of these families?
I am most anxious to know when John born 1862 and Mary Ann born circa 1867 died.
Families lost touch during WW1 so any help gratefully received!
