hi trying to find the birth for miriam amelia jones born 1881/2 in fulham fathers name james and mother is charlotte eliza jones (nee cox) i have her marriage and her death but cant find any birth

How about -
Miriam Jones, Chelsea, March 1884, vol.1a page 381. She is down as aged 7 on the 1891 census (under the name Milly)

hi selina i have the marriage 1877 with charlotte but i cant find miriam amelia on the 81 census i no she died 29 jan 1945 age 63 so i no that 1881 is close
but i think born after the 81 census i have the family on the 91 census but no miriam but she is with her mother on the 1901 census

I think Milly and Miriam are one and the same.

hi kate it may be that miriam was caled milly as a nickname and there is no other ref to milly anywhere but it should have miriam on the birth as all other certs have miriam on but i cant find miriam anywhere on the register i did find an amelia in 1881
q/4 vol 1a p 319 in chelsea and thats the nearest i can find and ive had a lot of wrong certs lately so i dont no about this one
