Aussie Helen Report 19 Jun 2008 08:16

I would love to find out about my Mother's half-sister. She was known to Mum and her family as Cis or Sis. Not sure if that was just a nickname or her name was Cicely. My Grandmother Ada Elizabeth Goble gave birth to her at least a year before marrying my Grandfather Harry Thomas Allen in 1913. I can only imagine that she was brought up by my Greatgrandparents William and Maryann Goble who lived in Epsom, Surrey.
I do have a cousin John Goble-wife Lorraine? who lived in the Epsom area before we came out to Australia in 1969 when I was only 13, but I've had no luck at all trying to find him, as we didn't have as much contact with the Goble side of my Mum's family. I guess he would have to be at least in his late 60s or even early 70s by now. Would much appreciate any help or advice anyone could give.
